An interesting discussion thread would be; “what are the factors that tend to discourage pilots from getting more recurrent training”?

Here are some possible answers:

 

a) pilots are cheap bastards

b) recurrent training is not available

c) most pilot's don't think they need it

My expereince teaching in the American Bonanza Society program was that less than 10% of the member pilots availed themselves of reasonably priced recurrent training.
