Just received a 90=B0 elbow from Airflow Performance
so that I can reposition the injector on my IO360B1F.
I noticed in their catalog that they offer a high
pressure electric fuel pump at $290.00 for the
experimental market. Do any of you have experience
with this fuel pump in your installations?
Angier,
My partner and I have been using this fuel pump on our
Lancair 235 with an IO-320 without problems for over
150 hours now. It puts out the appropriate pressure
and has been trouble free. As for the 90 degree elbow, if we had to do it over
again, we would not use this attachment for the
intake. Although this has been trouble free as well,
this causes the intake to be lower and therefore
required significant modification to the cowl in order
to make this work, which I'm sure increased drag and
created significant extra work (not to mention that it
doesn't look as good). I would certainly look into
using the attachment off the the forward end of a
modified oil pan. Regards, Denis Conkey
