OK, I'm tired of paying $50 to fill my tiny 11 cubic foot Mountain High
portable tank. It's a fixed price regardless of what tank you bring the
FBO. They won't deal and I think they are the only game around. I tried
medical houses but they say they just replace tanks (obviously won't work
for me) and I have to have a prescription. It's a controlled drug in the
state of Michigan if you can believe that! And one place I found that would
fill an industrial tank, backed away when they saw my bottle with 'aviation'
written on it. This was a welding supply place I think. Something about
'AVO' grade certs needed (humidity testing).
What are you guys doing? Some of you have found a way to fill tanks at a
reasonable cost I'm sure. What's the approach? Sorry I couldn't check the
archives since the search engine seemed not to be working (5:30pm eastern
time, Tuesday). What are other FBO's charging??? I should be in the oxygen
business.

Ed de Chazal
