It's a fixed price regardless of what tank you bring the FBO. They won't deal and I think they are the only game around. I tried medical houses but they say they just replace tanks (obviously won't work for me) and I have to have a prescription. It's a controlled drug in the state of Michigan if you can believe that! And one place I found that would fill an industrial tank, backed away when they saw my bottle with 'aviation' written on it. This was a welding supply place I think. Something about 'AVO' grade certs needed (humidity testing). What are you guys doing? Some of you have found a way to fill tanks at a reasonable cost I'm sure. What's the approach? Sorry I couldn't check the archives since the search engine seemed not to be working (5:30pm eastern time, Tuesday). What are other FBO's charging??? I should be in the oxygen business.
