Hi Bobby, the piece that broke off was triangle shaped aprox. 1/8"X1/8"X1/4" very near end where seal becomes two piece, should have taken a photo, can see where it hit rotor twice before exiting.

How larger was the chunk of apex seal that broke off? Was it in the middle or closer to the ends? Did you determine of FOD was involved?
