   That photo isn't of my installation.  My 13B is currently a gaggle of parts on my assembly bench.  The photo came from one of the several members here who have bought an adapter from me.  IIRC, it's Bobby Hughes's aircraft. 

   Also, I don't think it's the temp sensor that's at risk (middle port), but rather, the pressure sensor (left port).

Thats a good place to measure the oil temp, but how about using a braided stainless hose so you can mount that sensor remotely? A bit of vibration over time and that neck could break the way you have it.
