I used the heavy springs, both pipes out of eng. from flange to dbl. wall slip loints ( as shown in Lynn ill. ) w/springs, to flex, to muff./res. hanging under airframe supported frnt. & rear, 45 deg. turn-down on end of muff./res. of larger dia. pipe. You don't need the dutch clamp with the slip-fit connector. But you will need a couple of stiff springs, or match-drilled flat stock to hold the connector together. I chose the latter method.
