Kevin,  Amsoil has  long offered a remote filter system, complete with proper hoses and fittings.  You can plumb in directly or they provide an adaapter that fits the factory mount, quite flush.  Also,
their oil filter stands above all others, it has a new nano=-fiber echnology that will filter down to uner5 microns, and not restrict oil flow.  Extended oil dreain is possible with the usee of their best oil and
this filter..  Duane Service

Subject: [FlyRotary] remote oil filter

my renesis engine only came with 2 holes and 2 studs in the block for the filter.  i was going to install a remote since i doubt the stock will fit under a rv-6a cowl.  since the holes are close together it seems i should have the threaded ports come out on opposite sides.  from there i would need flex lines with/without 90's to the remote filter base.  i think i need a port for the redrive too.   is it acceptable to mount the remote on the redrive plate?  is there a better place?  the cool side of the engine seems will be busy with plug wires and cooling ducting.   is anyone selling this part or have a drawing i could use to have one made?  other than the O-ring seats, it seems the whole thing could be done on a drill press with std bits and taps, no?   are the seats machined flat and square, or filleted the dia of the O-ring?     kevin
