Mine is brown too (it was the painted version so no surprise) and you can see daylight through the two sets of perforated cones when brand new.

Yes, I have two but they may be sharing the load, so was interested if any other single muffler use was having a problem. I know Tracy has not, but then he's flying the Renesis which is undoubtedly easier on the mufflers.

I have had my Hushpower installed for 200+ hours, and no problems. I have the NA block with splitters, so I suspect that helps with the longevity issue.
