For George,  No, there is no door, I live in Florida hence- no need for less cooling.
Actually, the cooler is mounted downstream -airflow wise- and on top of the engine oil cooler.

George,
Out of curiosity where does the black hose T'ed off the cooler go to??

That hose is the return from a remote pressure relief valve, which is set at about 50 psi.  The valve built into the pump (barely visible in upper right of photo), kept leaking .  I bought a stand alone unit from the Surplus House.  It seems to have solved the problem.

The oil flow is out of the bottom of the Moroso tank, through a finger strainer, then through the cooler, then into the suction side of the pump.  From the pump, it goes through a Cross fitting with a temp sender, pressure sender, and relief valve line, then into the top of the redrive.  The drains join, and flow back to the Moroso tank reservoir.

Is that a Rube Goldberg contraption or what ?
