here are a couple of reports to read--just google the accident number and look at the full factual. report..CEN09FA267 a Cirrus with an Avidyne...and CHI07FA183 a Meridian with an Avidyne. In both cases the pilots could not fly the aircraft in IMC without the assistance of the a/p.
