Guys,

I talked with Derek Hines yesterday and inspected the front strut.  The center mechanism was fine.  It had not turned.  Actually, it can't change where the center is due to geometry in the strut.

That being said, I noticed the roll pin at the bottom of the shaft where the U bracket of wheel attaches had sheered.  It had turned just enough that you almost couldn't see the hole for the roll pin.  That is where the strut had failed.  I have
pictures.  I'll send them to Marv in a second.
