If Derick has not already done so, would you please remind him to submit a
"Service Difficulty Report" to the Lancair Network News along with any
recommendations.  This is the only reliable way for other IV drivers to be
alerted about a potential failure of their centering mechanism.  

Now is a good time to remind other operators that have had problems to
report them to the LNN.  All new SDRs and SBs are reported in the LNN and
archived on Marve's web site for folks to see no charge.  The SDRs and SBs
should be reviewed periodically (especially prior to the annual condition
inspection) to see what problems other operators are experiencing.  SDR
reports may be submitted anonymously. And they may be submitted via E-mail,
snail mail, or telephone at (941) 694-3757   Marvin Kaye 209 labelle Ave.,

The SDR program in my opinion is the most valuable service the LNN provides
and deserves all of our input and support.  The list is extensive. Please
participate.
