I am currently having a twin turbo, twin
intercooled IO540 built for my Legacy by Performance Aero Engines in La Verne,
CA.
Performance is represented by Stewart Featherstone
(909.763.5228). Stewart is currently building the mockup of the
Legacy
engine compartment utilizing the Lancair
Continental cowling halves. ( They are a little wider in girth and do not have
the ram
air opening in front). Stewart's not a guy to miss
the fine details and the setup promises to be clean and efficient. My setup
should
be complete and delivered for installation by mid
July. The setup is intended for duplication to other Legacy builders. These guys
are
doing all of the homework and have the expertise to
do it right.
