John,

If you have an electronic (Guardian) carbon monoxide detector installed, remove the sensor before doing any silicone work.  The curing silicon eats the CO sniffer.

Hello All,

For those with IVPs  I am ready to slather the insides of my airplane with silicone for sealing up the pressure vessel and am hoping for input on best practices, pitfalls etc.  Better yet, if there is someone in the Puget Sound area who has done this themselves and felt good about it, I’d gladly fly you to the Olympic Peninsula, provide lunch, donate a couple of my children to you etc, for hands on workshop.

I have all the panels fabricated and fit – Jeffco Tank Sealed and ready to go  --- I think.

Regards,
