Hi All

 

I need some info on the older struts for the 320-360.  According to SB 055 there is a clamp to secure the lower fork because of the possibility of the shear pin to get loose. Then there was SB067 for an upgrade for the old clamp. I have seen another fix where they drilled out the shear pin and installed a 3/16 bolt with no collar clamp for the fix.   Has anybody else done the bolt mod instead of the collar??

Also talking with Ross at Lancair he recommend that my strut(esco) be sent back to them for rebuild and the self centering device be installed in in.  Have most of you had this done???  comments  pro cons.

 

Also  those still in the finishing process I bought the WLS primer direct for 125.00 a gallon compared to 300.00 from lancair.  Makes me hesitant to buy anything from Lancair
