According to SB 055 = there is a clamp to secure the lower fork because of the possibility of the= shear pin to get loose. Then there was SB067 for an upgrade for the old cl= amp. I have seen another fix where they drilled out the shear pin and insta= lled a 3/16 bolt with no collar clamp for the fix. Has anybody else done = the bolt mod instead of the collar?? Comments pros cons ??? Also talking with Ross at Lancair he recommend that my strut(esco) be sent = back to them for rebuild and the self centering device be installed in in. = Have most of you had this done??? comments pro cons. Also those still in the finishing process I bought the WLS primer direct f= or 125.00 a gallon compared to 300.00 from lancair. I need some info on the older struts for the 320-360.  According = to SB 055 there is a clamp to secure the lower fork because of the possibil= ity of the shear pin to get loose.
