Hi Russell,

 

I think putting louvers in the nose well doors will actually hurt the cooling.  You’re looking for the maximum delta pressure between air above the cylinders to below the cylinders for best air flow.  That’s why Andy Chiavetta sells a box that seals off the Legacy’s nose well – to improve cooling…
