I've had one of the "stick-on" CO detectors on my panel as a matter of
course. These airplanes do not have the Friendly Aviation Administration's
blessing on the exhaust system and what the flow patterns around the
fuselage might be. We all NEED to have some type of *Workable* CO detector
on board.

I had no information on whether the one I bought from AC Spruce worked or
not, so initially, I bought two of them and took one and held it in the
exhaust of my car. It turned black within seconds so I concluded the one on
my panel was OK.

The one talked about here sounds better so I'll probably get one, but I'll
keep the stick-on as a back-up since it weighs, at most, a gram or so.
