I do the following to jack up the mains on my ES when the wings are
off. Put a 4-by-4 through the shear box under the wing
bolts. On the side you want to raise, remove the gear leg fairing
to expose the under-side of the 4-by-4 near the wing bolts.
Secure a jack to the 4-by-4 (e.g., make a hole that will fit whatever
jack you use) and jack it up. Works great. No jack
points. With the wings on, the same procedure will work with a
block of wood placed in the opening to the shear box under the spar.
To raise the nose, I use downward pressure (well distributed via shot
bags) on the tail. It takes quite a bit of weight to do this, but
it works. Just block the wheels off so the plane doesn't want to
move. These strategies work for me.
