That certainly solves a problem of what and where to put the jack points. But you still have to be aware not to put them on the "thin" areas of the fuselage. Did this matter for your stands?
We used them when we had a big sailboat and needed to work on the bottom. They used a big lift and slings to get it to the stands.

They are called boat stands. I did not install jack points. They come with a one foot square pad on them. All I did was put a > piece of foam on the one foot square. I use them to raise the nose gear or to raise the main gear off the ground. They were > very useful for me during the building process. Here is a web site to see what they look like.
