Great information, Jeff.  It was too late at night writing my email.  It should be that my COM2 would be in the vertical stab.

I know about COMANT, but who is AEA?  Is your COM2 antenna essentially the type that is described in the Lancair assembly manual?  Do you have a picture of your arrangement of antennas in your vertical stab?  I'm really interested in the Xpdr antenna?

I think I will be happier with redundant GPS antennas than have a need for two NAV antennas.  Do you have any trouble with servicing your radio stack with the GPS antennas under the glareshield?

How about your ELT antenna?

And finally...I'm still pretty lost on a NAV antenna, even one, on a IV-P with carbon fiber wingtips.
