Gil:
I'm sure the CG result will depend on many other details of your airplane as well, but we did locate both the battery and the hydraulic pump behind the seatbacks in my airplane. My second battery is also there, along with the ELT and power grids. The CG turned out just the way I wanted it (near the front of the envelope with no fuel and one light person, and still in the envelope with two heavy people, full fuel and baggage). The Hartzell three-blade came out after we planned this, but it turned out great.

Posted for "Gil" <gil@cargillsells.com>:
I have heard that installing the battery in the specified location
causes some CG problems. The solution is to install the battery
directly behind the passenger's seat.
Does anyone have any comments about this?
