I had the same problem. I was instructed to use shim stock to tighten them
up, by Carsten at Lancair. I have installed the shim stock and they seem
tight. I have not flown yet.

The tires are wearing on the inside as yours. Both gear are same. I have
140
landings at this date.
One thing that works on Cessna gear legs is to work shim stock in the gap.
I've not done it myself, though, so I can't offer any helpful hints. I
don't think I would touch a welder to the gear leg as it is a highly
stressed, heat treated element.
