Hello Leon,

I have my RMI temp sensor mounted in exactly the same spot. In the cabin air
NACA scoop on the left side. My temps tend to read about 2 to 3 deg F high,
not more. I insulated mine from the cockpit interrior with a fairly
substantial glob of micro over the back of the sensor. I wonder if you're
interrior temps are affecting your reading.
