I like rudder and
elevator trim on the 'coolie hat' switches, PTT in the most natural position,
whether it's a trigger or button. A/P disconnect is a maybe, but I'd keep
everything else off the stick.
In my experience with
ES's, you adjust the rudder trim at least ten times more often that aileron
trim, so to me it makes sense to have the rudder on the stick, the aileron on
the panel. On my last one, I put a COM swap switch on one of the
positions, but wouldn't do it again. Too easy to bump it without noticing
and then be transmitting on the wrong radio. Not that I'd admit it ever
happened to me . . . .
