Rob Wolf and Brent Regan's discussion on the above reminded me of several
recommendations in the LML concerning the Bosch relays. Are they available
in 24 volt versions, and does anyone have a good source for same? I actually
need a couple to operate fan motors with light-duty sensor switches; 10-15
amp capacity would be sufficient. Any alternative recommendations?
Thanks,
Bob Pastusek

[Bob, the following is taken from a posting on the LML way back in December of '98.  I'd suggest that you call Brandon Products direct and ask their sales org whether they have the Bosch units with 24v coils.  Hope this helps.

I used the Bosch relays to control the hydraulic power pack because:

1. They were smaller and lighter, and

2. They were more reliable. (They were specifically designed to handle
inductive loads, and are life-cycle rated.)

The manufacturer can be contacted at
Robert Bosch Corp
Automotive Group
2800 S. 25th Ave
Broadview, IL 60153
708-865-5200

The number that he gave for Twentieth Century Marketing is no longer in
service, (it was where he obtained data sheets from), but I do have a good
number for a distributor in PA who will sell these things directly. They
are readily available from Brandon Products
800-422-3274.

The 60A units are US$13.27 each, and the 15A ones are $2.57.
