And why would this setup be better than a turbocharger?  Besides maybe being
easier to install since one doesn't have to mess with the exhaust system.
Even the "normalized" version won't result in the same engine life as the
original NA engine.  I assume you plan to use a centrifugal compressor and
in that case how do you make it work efficiently at 385 hp at 22,000 ft,
which would probably equate to about 40+ inches manifold pressure and a
pressure ratio of about 3.
