Hi, I remember that the horizontal must be thinner than the elevator to re-attache the air flow on the elevator. I can't find any reference about this in the manual. (Small or Large tail) (Mine is
small). Can anyone give me some guidance about this.

Pine:
Based upon our conversations with Lancair regarding construction of our
ES, the concept of having the Elevator being slightly thicker than the
H.Stab was to increase the effectiveness of the elevator but, it was not
a necessary modification for acceptable levels performance. Our sole
source of info on this subject came from Lancair personnel and there was
no mention of it in the manual. I suggest you give either Techs a call
for clarification on your specific kit.
