Ed; and all,
I had Hayes Rotary build this engine & 3mm apex seals were installed. Now I will replace both rotors with 86-88 turbo type, stock would be 2mm seals. I'll take your advise and go with Tracy's RA Super seals and I'll need the 2 pc spring assy's.
Otherwise, I'm making up a parts list for Madzatrix? After I review the build sheet for my engine, which is out at the hangar with my plane.

Scott stated the compressor side of the turbo was OK, the photo was of the turbine side. It would appear that apex seal
broke and spit parts through the spinning turbine blades.
Scott, are you using RWS apex seals - highly recommend for boost type rotary engines. Go to his website and check them out. I had apex seals break on me (the stock ones are fairly brittle) and thereafter went with RWS apex seas and never had any more problems.

It seems something was ingested thru the turbo. Have you discovered what it
might have been?

Bummer, looks like both the rotor and housing are done in.
Scott, out of curiosity - are you using N/A or turbo rotors?
