Belay that. I just figured out that
Bruce apparently milled about 13mm (or more) off of the pad -
basically eliminating the mounting ears altogether (sigh).

Lynn,
Any idea how Bruce achieved the "cast iron" appearance where
the left mount screw hole has apparently been ground away?
Here's a photo of what an FC or FD oil filter mount pad should
look like.

Bruce did that to all of his rebuilds. How he
connected the inner and outer galleries I do not know. It
was to make more room under the cowl, rather than have the
oil filter sticking up so high.
The outer gallery must be pressurized for the oil
pressure relief valve to work. Look for another set screw
on the side where he connected the inner and outer
galleries. If this is correct, you can use the stock oil
pressure port. I like a block on top of the stock filter
adaptor stand (removed in your case) so I can measure oil
temp going into the rear stationary gear. (The inner
gallery).
That also connects to the alignment dowels to
supply oil to the front stationary gear. The dowels are
the upper oil supply gallery for the front iron. The set
screws are threaded plugs.

The picture didn't come through
the first time, so here it is as an attachment.
Help
