Mark,
The early (86 to 91) 13B uses an "O" ring to seal the stationary gear
if my memory is correct.............I presume the 20B is the same..........

Subject: [FlyRotary] Rear Planetary Gear Carrier

Can anyone tell me what type of sealant/gasket/whatever should be used between the rear planetary gear carrier and rear side housing.  (See item 5 in the attached drawing)  Oil pressure is supplied to the bearing from the oil filter pad down through a channel in the rear side housing to the planet gear carrier and finally through the small hole in the carrier to the bearing.  While there is a seal around the rear main journal, I don't recall what should be used to seal the oil from leaking from around the 6 carrier bolts.  I ask because I may have a leak in this area.

Thanks,
Mark S.
