I needed to mount 6 LS1 coils for my 20B.   I took a length of 1" x 1" x 1/8" aluminum angle, a few inches longer than three coils placed end to end.  Then I cut 3 notches into each of the two legs to allow the body of the LS1 coil to fit.  Then I drilled holes for mounting to the angle

Mark; those don’t look like the LS1 coils that I have.

 

If you have a machinist friend with not much to do, you can have him machine a nice coil tray out of solid aluminum (see photo).  Mounts to bolt holes on top of the 20B. Has worked fine for 200 hours – haven’t had any coil failures.
