I needed to mount 6 LS1 coils for my 20B.  I ended up with a very simple design that I'm still using.  I took a length of 1" x 1" x 1/8" aluminum angle, a few inches longer than three coils placed end to end.  Then I cut 3 notches into each of the two legs to allow the body of the LS1 coil to fit.  Then I drilled holes for mounting to the angle.  It is mounted directly below the plugs on the motor mount with adel clamps.
