Paul,
Number 1 rotor is the one next to the water pump (the front for us). Number 2 is next to the flywheel (the back)..... unless of course you have you're engine in backwards, then reverse everything I said. :)
Regards,
John

Subject: [FlyRotary] which way is up?

Hi, fellow rotary enthusiasts.  I am in the process of wiring up my MicroTech ECU. The instructions on wiring up the coils describe which wires go to the lead and lag plugs, both on the number one and the number two rotor. The engine is clearly marked designating which plugs are lead, and which are lag. My question is.....is the number one rotor the one nearest to the flywheel, or nearest to the water pump?  Sorry for the dumb question....But it would be dumber to wire it incorrectly knowing that I have access to those who have gone before me.  Thanks in advance for your replies, and for not razzing me too badly. Paul Conner.....no, make that name witheld in Mobile, AL.
