Which brings me to ask - what ultimately happened
to the Spintech? I'm sure this was discussed in detail when you made the switch
but I was off the list at the time.

Mine is brown too (it was the painted version so no surprise) and you can
see daylight through the two sets of perforated cones when brand new.

Mine has gotten louder so pulled it off and looked at it. You can

ok. Have about 75 hours on it. The exterior looks as though it
has been overheated, brown chalky look.
Thanks, Bill
Yes, I have two but they may be sharing the
load, so was interested if any other single muffler use was having a
problem. I know Tracy has not, but then he's flying the Renesis
which is undoubtedly easier on the mufflers.

Ed,
I have had my Hushpower installed for 200+
hours, and no problems. I have the NA block with splitters, so I
suspect that helps with the longevity issue.

Anyone else having a problem with the
Hushpower II other than Jason?
I have two on my installation and they
have worked fine (so far) and I have the turbo block without the
exhaust splitters making for a pretty powerful exhaust pulse.
