as for attaching, the opposite end piece is also counter sunk with a hole saw and is presently held on only jb weld cotton flox mixture.  i've tried to physically push it off, only to hear the wheel chocks sliding on the floor.  short of a hammer blow I doubt it will come off.  which is inline with my experience with jb weld.  eventually i'll connect the throttle body and rear plate with a threaded rod.  but this does raise the subject of attaching the forward throttle body plate. yes I could tig it or use the hts2000 brazing rods. but i'm leaning towards sinking the hole saw further into the plate, roughing up the surface with a file and 40 grit, then using the same jb weld flox slurry.  then using the 2 threaded rods as backup.

If the group is of the opinion jb weld is not strong enough, what epoxy glue would you use?       ____________________________________________________________________________________
