Wendell,
I am out of town and not at my hangar to check bolt size and thread pitch.......I
think it may be as much as 14mm......If you have not determined size by this weekend
I will check one of my engines........A possible source might be the oil pan drain bolt
selection at most auto supply stores........They come in many sizes and thread pitches
both Metric & SAE........Since you only need it to seal oil pan to engine block the
bolt quality is not an issue.........FWIW

I need to know the size of the larger bolt that goes thru the oil pan and was part of the original engine mount in a car. I think it may be 12mm x1.25 but can' find any that size. The original one I have are too long and if you would cut them off all the threads would be lost.

Try Sears Home and Garden centers,  Lowes, and NAPA for metric bolts that are all threads.
