Ed and all responders,
Thanks guys but I'm not sure of the thread
size, I know 1.75 is too coarse. Is there a 1.5 or 1.25 in a
12mm?
By the way, is there a magical location for
the holes in the foam reducer plate in the motor mount? Am fabricating this
plate now and some insight would help.

bolts [FlyRotary] Re: Bolt size
Wendel,
I found 12mm 1.75 thread at this location - don't know what minimum size
order is from them but that shows the bolt do exist. So might be
worthwhile searching on the web to see what type local stores might carry
them.

I need to know the size of the larger bolt that goes thru the oil
pan and was part of the original engine mount in a car. I think it may
be 12mm x1.25 but can' find any that size. The original one I have are
too long and if you would cut them off all the threads would be
lost.

Try Sears Home and Garden centers, Lowes, and NAPA for
metric bolts that are all threads.

Already tried those sources, no
luck; even went to a specialy hardware store, same results.
