I agree, David.
It was getting so that whenever I taxied in to a crowd, I
would switch over to my run on my secondary rather than the primaries. For
some reason it would idle better on the secondary. But, on the primary it
was not crisp sounding - sounded overly rich and sloppy.
I wonder if Tracy can do my EC2 before Sun & Fun -
I'll be stopped over for a day. No, then I would have to unload and take
out my seats to get under the instrument panel and take the EC2 out - never
thought about its location at installation time - thought I would never have it
out from under the panel - boy! was I ever wrong {:>)

power fuel burn / EC2 injector driver change
There is nothing wrong.. that is just the brand I bought (TWM). I
can crank it up to 70 psi if I want, and that is the lower pressure version of
the regulators they have.
I am really starting to get excited about this snubber change
(whatever that is). Idle was always something of an embarrassment.

David,
Thanks, that's a good reference point. It seems to me that
something may be amiss with your FP regulator to only be able to
adjust it down to 40. I can easily adjust mine down into the
low 20's with no effort. I cranked it up to 36 and will see how it
runs next weekend.

Mark,
I found that the lower I set it, the better I could idle. So I
loosened up the screw all the way. that gave me about 40 psi with
the engine off and 32 psi at idle (manifold referenced). I can idle
as low as 800-900 but it is not smooth. It really will not run
smoothly until up around 1200-1400 rpm.
