There is nothing wrong.. that is just the brand I bought (TWM). I can crank it up to 70 psi if I want, and that is the lower pressure version of the regulators they have.
I am really starting to get excited about this snubber change (whatever that is). Idle was always something of an embarrassment.

Thanks, that's a good reference point. It seems to me that something may be amiss with your FP regulator to only be able to adjust it down to 40. I can easily adjust mine down into the low 20's with no effort. I cranked it up to 36 and will see how it runs next weekend.

I found that the lower I set it, the better I could idle. So I loosened up the screw all the way. that gave me about 40 psi with the engine off and 32 psi at idle (manifold referenced). I can idle as low as 800-900 but it is not smooth. It really will not run smoothly until up around 1200-1400 rpm.
