Many on this list have welded in threaded bungs available through auto parts suppliers.
Some of the evaporator cores already have nice curved inlets and outlets welded in that you can attach hoses to.

The inlet/outlets on the core I bought are only 1/2"; otherwise, I think the core is perfect. Luckily, there are large, flats on both sides to add my own connectors. I will probably also end up welding the bungs, but it doesn't hurt to ask for alternatives beforehand.
