Many on this list have welded in threaded bungs available through auto parts suppliers.
Some of the evaporator cores already have nice curved inlets and outlets welded in that you can attach hoses to.

lock it to the sides. An angled lip would pull the flange down onto the
gasket. Anyone ever seen such a beast?
