The inlet/outlets on the core I bought are only 1/2"; otherwise, I think 
the core is perfect.  Luckily, there are large, flats on both sides to 
add my own connectors.  I will probably also end up welding the bungs, 
but it doesn't hurt to ask for alternatives beforehand.
