I may be incorrect, but somewhere in the back of my mind, on some list or article, there was a suggestion not to use SCEET on the intake system because of degeneration of the internal coating and chips (silicon) being drawn into the intake system.
I can't remember what or where, but I too used that stuff in my induction system and was somewhat shocked to read about it. Further research might be in order. I hope my memory is wrong as it is nice stuff, relatively easy to work with and seems to do it's job well.

Hi Rich,
Scat tubing does not have inner wall and you can see the wire coil on the inside. Sceet tubing has an inner wall that is known to separate and collapse.
