Glad to hear you are pursuing that Dennis. Internal pump can greatly
increase your flight safety margin. There is a nifty little pump Subaru
has been using the last few years. It's about half the size of normal
fuel pump. I don't know anything about it's reliability, although all
internal pumps will have lower fail rate than external pumps (in theory
anyway). I'm planning on picking up a couple and convert my plane to
internal pumps. -al wick

I'm interested in adding a submerged (in tank) fuel pump capable of producing the required flow and pressure to operate the fuel injector system. Has anyone found a unit that can be retrofitted to the inboard tank bulkhead on a RV -7 fuel tank? I have both my tanks built and closed up with the standard fuel gauge and fuel pick-up system. I'd like to be able to mount a pump in the tank without disturbing the existing system.
Thanks,
Dennis H.
