Internal pump can greatly increase your flight safety margin. There is a nifty little pump Subaru has been using the last few years. It's about half the size of normal fuel pump. I don't know anything about it's reliability, although all internal pumps will have lower fail rate than external pumps (in theory anyway). I'm planning on picking up a couple and convert my plane to internal pumps. -al wick Artificial intelligence in cockpit, Cozy IV powered by stock Subaru 2.5 N9032U 200+ hours on engine/airframe from Portland, Oregon Prop construct, Subaru install, Risk assessment, Glass panel design info: http://www.maddyhome.com/canardpages/pages/alwick/index.html On Fri, 24 Feb 2006 20:31:01 -0600 Dennis Haverlah writes: > I'm interested in adding a submerged (in tank) fuel pump capable of > > producing the required flow and pressure to operate the fuel > injector > system.
