On my Renesis, I am fabing my own oil pickup out of 4130 and using the pickup screen from my parted out Cosmo. I am also fabbing a custom oil pan made out of finned heatsink aluminum welded to my mounting plate which is done. I wanted to get away from the leak potential from the sandwich and provide a little additional oil cooling with the finned oil pan.  I am undecided about putting in the oil level switch, but am leaning that way.
