It looks to be a float type sensor, Joe.  That is, the trickle of
oil
will actually make it alarm sooner, not later.

I didn't read anything about a float.  I do see a red thing at the top
of the probe that could be a float, I guess. I was assuming this was a
little more sophisticated...I.e. a capacitance probe.
