Yes Ed, I did receive the picture and I thought the installation was very clean and well designed. Yesterday I worked till I dropped and only spent a few minutes e-mailing. As I have said the package of the oil cooler mounted beside the radiator tends to get too wide to be practical in my opinion. On exception would be turbos as they run the exhaust out the side. More later. Jerry

Thanks Bobby, it looks like the Renesis is running on nearly 1.5 qts. less oil than the 13B. Jerry

Jerry,
On Bruce T's recommendations I am planning on using the older 13B pickup
tube. He said it would need to be modified to fit with Fred's mounting
plate.
I have attached the oil info from the RX8 shop manual. It looks like the
6 port has more oil capacity.

Subject: [FlyRotary] Renesis oil pan
Can anyone tell me if the Renesis pick up tube bolts up to the oil pump
the same as the 13 B? I am trying to determine if I can use the 13 B
pick up tube in a custom oil pan for a Renesis. If not, the Renesis
pick up tube will have to be modified.
FYI,The 13 B oil pan is two inches deeper than the Renesis pan and holds
158 oz. The Renesis oil pan holds 96 oz.
At oil change how much oil does the Renesis take? The 13B takes 5
qts with filter. Thanks, Jerry
